We’re on the hunt for a strategic and results-driven E-Commerce & Retention Manager to lead our marketing team and own the marketing calendar from end to end. You’ll be responsible for planning and executing brand campaigns across all channels, ensuring the right messages reach the right people at the right time. If you love keeping a team aligned, assets flowing, and calendars tight—this role is for you.
You’ll also oversee our ecommerce website and retention performance, optimising digital customer journeys and building out high-impact lifecycle marketing. How You’ll Make an Impact
Your strength in campaign coordination, strategic planning, and retention marketing will play a pivotal role in aligning Kester Black’s marketing efforts and driving our next phase of growth. You’ll take full ownership of the marketing calendar—working closely with team members across design, content, and performance to plan, brief, and deliver campaigns across all touchpoints.
As the connector between marketing, ecommerce, and operations, you’ll ensure we’re executing with clarity, consistency, and creativity. You’ll also take the lead on optimising customer journeys and lifecycle communications—developing a roadmap of testing and improvement to boost retention, engagement, and repeat purchase.
What You’ll Do

Own the marketing calendar: Plan, brief, and coordinate all brand campaigns across digital channels and internal teams.

Execute retention marketing: Build and optimise lifecycle flows, segmentation, and email campaigns in Klaviyo.

Optimise conversion: Run A/B tests on site elements to improve CVR, AOV, and customer journey performance.

Track performance: Monitor key ecommerce metrics and apply insights to improve growth and retention.

Manage the Shopify store: Oversee PDPs, pricing, stock visibility, and merchandising to maximise sales.

Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with design, content, and operations to deliver cohesive, high-impact campaigns.
What You’ll Bring
You’re a strategic operator with a knack for coordination, communication, and continuous optimisation. You thrive in fast-moving environments, love making sense of data, and know how to bring people together to get campaigns over the line.
You’ll also bring:

4–5+ years of ecommerce and digital marketing experience, ideally in a DTC environment.

Strong knowledge of Shopify, with hands-on experience managing online store content, pricing, and merchandising.

Proficiency in email and retention tools (especially Klaviyo), with a solid grasp of segmentation, automation, and lifecycle strategy.

A strong understanding of conversion rate optimisation (CRO), UX principles, and A/B testing.

Confidence with analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Shopify, Klaviyo) and using data to inform decisions.

Excellent organisational and communication skills—you can manage timelines, brief clearly, and keep people aligned.

A collaborative mindset and an eagerness to work cross-functionally with marketing, design, and ops.
